The first step of installing any driveway is excavating the area in which you wish to have your driveway.There is two ways of excavating an area one is by hand the other is with a mini digger.
The depth of which should be dug out is 8 inches this is suitable for any driveway.There should be 4 inches of hardcore layed and compacted using a whacker plate and 4 inches of concrete then laid if you were laying a patio 3inches of each should be laid as there is no extreme weight placed on it.Then board out the sides by using flexi pvc strips or 4×2 rough sawn wood this will help you sort out your level and hold in your concrete.
The mix of concrete you would be a 10mm stone mix with fibres and the cement content will depend on the temprature it ranges from a 280 blend to a 340 opc.The lower cement content in the summer months and the higher content in the winter months.
We will go through the steps in which you lay a printed concrete driveway. You should first get your tools and mats ready then when the concrete comes you will not have to rush around gettin things ready.Then while the men are unloading the concrete there should be a man raking a level and another tampering a level with a leveler.When this stage is complete then you should float the surface with a magnesium float .After this you should apply the colour by sprinkeling it over the surface in an even manner.Then the colour should be floated in using a steel trowel this will seal the colour in and give a smooth surface.You will have to wait at this stage you can tell when the concrete is ready to start printing by pressing your finger into it when it gives resistance that is when you can start printing.
Now you can apply the release agent this is so the mats dont stick to the concrete. Then you should start printing from the first edge you laid the concrete as this will be the first area to start to set.Make sure u place the mat the right way around as certain mats can print a couple of diffrent ways around.You place the mat down and tamper it down with a special tampering tool after finishing it place tape across the front of the area to stop anyone stepping on the wet concrete.
This should be left for 48 hours before walking on it.Then you should wwww.jllandscapes.infoash of the release agent using washing up liquid and a pressure washer then cut into the concrete in the approprite places for expansion joints as like plaster concrete expands and can leave a hair line crack putting in expansion joints will prevent this.
After the above is done give it a week or so for the moisture to dry out then apply a high gloss or matt sealer to protect the concrete and bring out the colours of the concrete this will protect the concrete and give it a nice shine. How the Best Bathroom Remodeling Contractors Work

A long time ago, back when I’ve bought my first house, I prepared myself to renovate my washroom. I had it all laid out: the budget, the plan, the list of parts, materials and accessories to buy. All I needed now was a contractor. It was then that I met this man who could amazingly perform a washroom a renovation within three days time. At first I didn’t believe him, but he then got to work and in three days time all of my doubts about him were erased. He never failed at delivering results in time frame much shorter than most contractors.
The first day the contractor spent tearing down the construction. He tore down the walls, the floor and all of the accessories and fixtures in there. He used two helpers for this job but from the second day on worked alone. Also, after the demolition was done he would go about to look at the wood and the walls to perform repairs in case any damage had occurred. At the end of the day they installed a bathtub as well as arranged the plumbing the bathroom, and the way was paved for the second day of labor.
The second day, the contractor worked alone. It consisted of performing final repairs if necessary, as well as tile the boards, the walls, and the bathtub area. After he had tiled the area, he proceeded to install the flooring. This process took up all of today’s time, and he told me that sometimes the tiling is so difficult to do that there simply is no time left for the flooring in some cases.
When the third day came, the contractor proceeded to grout the tile, as well as install all of the missing accessories such as the toilet, the sink, and the mirrors. He then proceeded to repaint the bathroom into a plain and relaxing color. And just like that, by the end of the second day, I had to myself a completely rejuvenated and reconstructed washroom. Now, not everyone can work as fast as he does, but I really recommend that anyone about to undertake a remodeling project follow his method.
